Our Coaches

Haiduo Li
Head Coach
Haiduo is a full-time pickleball coach and a 4.5+ player. He takes hours breaking down shots and has a complete toolbox. With a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, he developed a systematic coaching program for players at different levels. Haiduo is good at observing and fixing any problem you may have. His expertise helps his students from all levels (beginners to 5.0) to medal. In addition, he has won numerous medals at the 4.5 open provincial level. His achievements include a silver in the Gatineau provincial tourney 4.5+ men’s doubles, a gold in the Sorel-Tracey mixed-doubles open, a gold in the APEX Club Competition – Christmas Special Team Event, and a gold in the Invitation St-Hyacinthe 2024 mixed-doubles open. He is direct, harsh and passionate! You won’t walk out of his class without learning a new technique or fixing a problem.

Emma (Ruoyi) Li
Head Pro
Emma is a dominating presence in the Quebec pickleball scene and is ranked among the top 10 female players in Canada. Known for her forehand topspin roll 3rd shot and backhand fast-hand, Emma brings firepower to every match. She’s a familiar face on the podium. In 2023, she was crowned a 6-time provincial gold medalist. In 2024, she took home 27 medals, including 12 golds, and captured the National Women’s Doubles Championship. Kicking off 2025, she earned a double gold at Classique Rive-Nord and now sets her sights on expanding into more U.S. tournaments this season. On the pro circuit, Emma is a seasoned competitor: 3-year CNPL draftee (Canadian National Pickleball League); Signed CPA Pro (Canadian Pickleball Association Pro Tour). Emma brings energy, excellence, and passion for the game. She has been coaching for 5 years and loves to see the improvements of her students.

Tony Fachaux
Advanced Coach
With over 20 years of experience in racket sports—including table tennis, tennis, and badminton—Tony found a natural and exciting fit in pickleball when he discovered the sport in 2023. Since then, he has trained intensively and competed in tournaments across Canada and the U.S., earning his first PPA gold medal in 2025. His deep background in technical and tactical play gives him a unique edge on the court. As a coach, Tony thrives when working with players who already have a solid foundation and are eager to elevate their game. His coaching style focuses on identifying technical gaps, strengthening decision-making, and developing a smarter, more strategic approach. Tony believes that pickleball is a game of precision, timing, and intelligence, more than brute force. His goal is to help each player unlock their full potential through thoughtful, intentional play.

Sandy Lin
Coach
Sandy has been playing pickleball for over six years and coaching for the past two, working with players of all ages and skill levels. As a licensed pickleball coach in both Taiwan (2023) and Canada (2024), she combines certified instruction with real tournament experience to help players reach their goals, whether that’s learning the basics or developing good in-game strategy. Sandy has competed in multiple tournaments across 3.5 and 4.0 levels, earning gold and bronze medals at the Taiwan Mayer Cup, as well as podium finishes in mixed doubles and team competitions. She focuses on building strong fundamentals, developing smart court awareness, and keeping the game fun and enjoyable.

Olivier Dutel
Coach
Olivier, affectionately known as “Coach Oli,” is an advanced player and passionate pickleball enthusiast for over 6 years. He now shares his experience with energy and authenticity. Certified RacketPro (Level 1, USA) and Pickleball Canada (Levels 1 and 2), he has been coaching players in the Montreal area for nearly two years. On the court, his approach is structured yet friendly. He believes that progress happens through enjoyment and respect for each player’s pace. He has powerful shots and a solid serve, which he teaches enthusiastically to help players develop an offensive game and stay in control. His goal is to create a motivating, accessible environment for anyone ready to level up.

Christy Annett
Coach
Christy has been an avid pickleball player for three years, dedicating 5-6 days a week to the sport. Her passion for pickleball led her to become a certified IPTPA Level I instructor. She has competed extensively in the 3.0 to 4.0 skill levels, consistently achieving podium finishes in numerous tournaments. With a university degree in Recreation and prior coaching experience in other sports, she is well-equipped to share her knowledge. Known for her positive energy and supportive approach, Christy creates a welcoming environment for players of all levels. She welcomes the opportunity to combine her love for pickleball with some fun, helping others discover and improve their game.
